A clinical study reveled that Propecia has the ability to stop male pattern baldness in about 83% of all cases, while promoting new hair growth in about 66% of the cases. Only 2% of men experienced certain sexual side effects while taking Propecia. These men reported one or more of the following: less desire for sex; difficulty in achieving an erection; and, a decrease in the amount of semen.
